The Truth Is Inconsistent
As we form up the resistance
And we must be persistant
in this world which need much fixing
Our existence
is threatened by our co-existance
the thought of us being equal is socially distant
And you musn’t listen to the voices
who tell you that you were born to be a rule
those are the same people who reject
your rights and keep killing themselves with fossil fuels
you must question the established and everything that you have believed
and everything that this human civilization has achieved
we’ve been naive to perceieve that this world has been moving in forward progression
we’ve been deceived with the thought of freedom yet encountered opression,
labeled by melanin, which furthers depression
racism is a guilty pleasure, confession
our aggression has become a guilty obsession
with a recession, yet we still want to further possessions
yet what we really are in need of is for someone to question
everything that we have practiced for ten thousand years
feeding off the land and off of everyone’s fears
Taker Civilization,
The foundation of our ‘salvation’, digression
how ignorant our minds, involved in global starvation,
the duration of our so called liberation, exclamation
point. just how columbus discovered a nation,
discovered a people, then killed them all because they were “uncivilized”
yet did they really deserve to die?
dominated by those who considered themselves indivisible by
nothing. because they seemed to possess ultimate truth
ignorant, untruth, right or wrong, youth, ruthless ..

We are feeble minds, attempting to conquer the system by any means necessary. Whatever that means of course is entirely up to how you interpret it to be. Sadly we must become contributers to the system before we are able to overcome it. The system of course, is whatever you interpret it to be. I have a mind full of problems which is always in search of a solution; which are scarce entities of their own. Solutions are composed of many ways of viewing the world we live in and what would best suit the human race. Or rather we can expand the horizon and include all walks of life, rather than be selfish and only focus on ourselves. I do not hold the keys of paradise; much less have any answers to which I can provide you with. Those keys were lost in the sands of times many moons ago. It is our mission to look for the lost remnants in an attempt to unlock the door of this life. Sadly we have stopped looking, that is if we had even began in the first place. I cannot say, it depends again on how you interpret it.

Breaking Bad Habits

The human mind constantly thinks. Yet once I read that most of the thoughts that occur in your head today are the same thoughts that occurred yesterday. the percentage of new thoughts is actually quite low. So it leads me to believe that we are truly habitual creatures. To expand our mental capacity and understanding of life we must learn to break this habitual perception of life. Be Free, Break the habit of thinking according to the same standards.

a gasp for air,
and another blank stare,

Apathy

Our apathy, my apathy, your apathy; to be honest its gotten the best of me. I do not concern myself with issues that do not affect me directly. You do not concern yourself with the issues that do not affect you directly. Indifferentness has become a way of existence as I walk about like Stevie Wonder, blind to what is in front of me. You are dying, yet i choose not to see. I am dying, flip it around again, because the end is also near for me. The planet cries, it yells, and screams. Destruction begins, yet you choose not to see. Apathy. Its killing you but its already killed me.

I sit there in deep thought as i look into all of their eyes. The unsureness i seen through their sparking globes of life. Whether it be sorrow, pain, unhappiness, desperation or whatever it is, something inside their eyes gives off a strong vibe. A bad one. This is a life changing moment that if one is not ready for, it can destroy two lives, not just one. The posters on the wall do not help but rather hurt all of their consciences. It was something they did not plan .. something they only hoped would never happen to them. but sadly .. it did.

“Before u plant the seeds make sure you can tend to the flowers.”

reads a poster on the wall. I look towards my friend and smile slighty hopng to comfort her through this confusing and difficult time. i may not agree with the decision that she is taking … but who am I that I should judge and condemn. I want to love her as a friend should. and no matter what she decides to do with her life, be there for her always.

DIFFERENT SCENARIO

“Its been 21 one years ever since i committed the act,” was told to me this summer by a relative. Tear exited her eyes as the pain she felt was brought back to the surface. “I pray to God each day to help me to get through this,” she told me as my eyes became full of tears themselves. “I got the opportunity to live, but he never got the chance.” I remained silent, because i didn’t know what to say.

Flowers are beautiful … but if there is no fertile soil and no sunlight they cannot grow properly, rather they whither away and die. Yet if the land is not ready, life is still possible, one must put extra care and tend to them with happiness and a new found responsibility. Abortion is no easy topic on paper, much less easier in person. But if you or someone you know is thinking of getting one, please make sure you know what you are doing and that you are in the right state of mind. My view points may not be your views, but i am in no position to condemn and criticize. I respect you and your decision.

Homeless on the Subway

6 Dollars in total rest within the confines of my wallet, which lies in the back pocket of my Calvin Klein Jeans, that probably total around 40 dollars. Mine eyes meet the eyes of this lady and in the very moment that our glances exchanged, i felt her pain, as if was transferred from her body, which was covered with dirt, cuts, bandages, and her outfit ripped into peaces, into mine. I can’t say that i was immediately compelled to give her all of my money because once again my selfish nature took over completely. Many thoughts ran across my dome ” what if she uses the money for drugs?” “What if i get into a tight predicament later and i need the money” “I am pretty hungry, i could buy something to eat, if i give the money away i wont have that to eat” ” will this money just motivate her not to change her lifestyle.”

And then, silence.

I think we think too much. We talk too much. But we never just do. I took out 4 dollars, for i am a selfish being, saving 2 dollars to get myself a metro-card for whenever i would return to the subway at a later date. It was the last of my physical money. Does it really matter what she uses the money for? isn’t that her decision and what she makes of her life? Is she not human? Is she not hungry? Isn’t she deserving enough on that basis right there? She is not less than me. Even though I may possess more physical money she may ever have, we are equal as humans, and it is evil to think otherwise.

Someone once told me, that any action you do whether big, small, good, or evil will have an impact on this world in some way, shape, or form. The most you can do is aspire to be great and hope to make the right decisions as you go along with life. And if you suffer, then you were meant to suffer for whatever action that you committed or even those that you did not commit, but that of course has its reasons as well. As i held the 4 dollars i stretched my hand to the lady in the cart of the subway and stuck it in her hand. She did not ask for it nor did I say anything, for i believe that words were not needed. And I hope that wherever she is, that she is well, and that the money proved to be useful.
